DIY Bridal shower favors can be easy to make and be fun to make. You can save a lot of money if you make your own. You can make favors out of many different materials, and even some simple things can be converted over to a great bridal shower favor.
There are some great homemade ideas that you can do that are inexpensive to do. One thing that you can make is wrapped candy bar wrappers. You can print these off and have add them to a small little package and it will be a great gift. You can use a variety of candies that you can wrap, and also do little candy kisses.
If you are in a dollar store and find heart shaped key rings these can also be used as a bridal shower favor, you simply dress them up when giving them out. Place them in a small box and package them cute. Add some lace bows to make them stand out.
Other things that you can get under a dollar each is bookmarkers, heart shaped cookie cutters, photo frames, candle holders, glass jars with lids just to name a few.
While you may be able to purchase these items under a dollar, you will still have to do some finishing touches on them to dress them up to make them into something special.
The Heart shape cookie cutter – Add a ribbon and a little saying attached to it. Make the saying something special and have it hanging in the middle of the cookie cutter.
Photo Frames: Add a favorite poem or a verse of a song to these. You can print them out on the computer using fancy paper and fonts then insert one into each frame.
Candles and Candle holders – these can be dressed up many ways. For a plain candle, you can glue on some glitter very lightly and have it glitter in the light, maybe glue on some little hearts to the candles. For the holders you can add ribbon and a little card attached to each one, depending on the design of the candle.
Glass jars with lids: For these you can add mints inside, or liquid bath soap, or start a friendship recipe that can be passed on, there are many friendship recipes that you can find online.
Making special bridal shower favors don’t have to cost a lot of money, or take a lot of time. You will have to be a little creative to make them cheap though. You can do these without looking like they were cheap.
