You want children to leave the party with a little something to remember the party with. You can make or purchase really cute and cheap party favors for the parties. You can make up little gift bags for your guests and add several things in it. With a little creative thinking you can get many of the favors on sale at clearance sales. These are great alternatives to the cheap plastic favors that places sell and kids lose them.

Play dough you can buy a big container, and split it up giving each child one. Kids love it. YOu don’t even have to buy the name brand one, and you will be able to save even more money.

Stickers and fake tattoos. Girls love the stickers and what boy doesn’t love a tattoo to show off to all his friends. These are very inexpensive and can be cut up to give a few to each from one strip of stickers or tattoos.

Dollar Store Books – Dollar stores have many books, coloring books and reading books. These are great for kids. If you purchase coloring books you may want to also purchase crayons for them to use.

Are you having a bowling party? One great way to package the favors is to purchase a set of plastic bowling pins with the bowling ball. You can purchase these at many stores. When you get them home, you can then cut the top of the bowling pins and add wrapped candy in the pin, then tape it back up with white tape. Then give each child a “pin” filled with goodies. Maybe you can open the bowling ball and give that special one to the child that bowls with the highest score.

Photos of the party – Buy cheap frames and paint them- dress them up for kids themes and during the party take a photo of the birthday boy or girl with each guest, and before the end of the party, have them printed off and insert them in the frame. Give one to each child as they are leaving as a remembrance of the party they just attended.

Decorated Gift Bags: If you want to send home small trinkets, then you will want to have a cute bag to send them home with. One thing that you can use is a colored paper bag that you can pick up a pack inexpensively. Decorate the outside of the bags with glitters, stickers and add a bow to seal the bags. Each one can take home a grab-bag of gifts when they leave. Insert small items in the bags.
